Understanding the Public Record Score

No official is automatically assigned a score. New officials appear as Not Yet Rated until editorial review is complete. Once verified records are entered, their Public Record Score starts at 10.00 and points are only deducted when supported by verified evidence — never by rumor or allegation alone. The score is the sum of five weighted categories and is always calculated automatically. No one types it by hand.

Truthfulnessmax 2.0

Verified false or misleading statements, corrected errors, and knowingly false claims. We do not use the word 'lie' unless the record establishes knowing falsehood.

Legal Conductmax 3.0

Criminal charges, indictments, convictions, and civil judgments. Charge and indictment deductions are provisional and restored on acquittal, dismissal, or overturn.

Ethicsmax 2.0

Abuse of office, nepotism, ethics violations, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and official actions that benefit associates.

Financial Integritymax 1.5

Campaign-finance violations, undisclosed financial conflicts, improper gifts or benefits, and lobbying connections with material public relevance.

Public Accountabilitymax 1.5

Compliance with public-record laws, cooperation with investigations, correction of material errors, attendance and official-duty participation, required disclosure compliance, response to substantiated public concerns, and misuse of government communication or resources. Declining to respond to this platform is recorded as 'No response' but is not itself a deduction unless a legal duty to disclose was breached.

Every claim is classified: Allegation · Investigation · Charge · Indictment · Conviction · Acquittal · Dismissal · Civil Judgment · Ethics Finding · Correction · Overturned. We never present an allegation as a proven fact.
